 What is the PBCF?

The propeller boss cap fin or hub vortex absorbed fin (HVAF) its a kind of energy saving device , it can save fuel consumption by 2% to 5% as operation at same speed if designed properly.

PBCF installed on the hub of a vessel’s propeller. It improves propeller efficiency by weakening the hub vortex generated behind the rotating propeller.
